creation of Liberty Art Gallery's showrooms in the historical center of
Saint-Petersburg on on December, 15th, 2005 was initiated by private collectors
who were simultaneously constant participants of the Russian Antique Salons in
Moscow (the Central House of Artists at the Krymsky Val street).
first one and a half years of the gallery's work in the project "Born in the
USSR", seven exhibitions of talented soviet artists have been prepared and
project "Liberty Art" from February to March 2006, both in the art gallery on
Pestelya street and in the halls of the
Saint-Petersburg Bank on Ostrovsky Square, there was a personal exhibition of the
contemporary Georgian artist Zazy Kharabadze " In mixture of paints...
For the 250
anniversary of the Russian Academy of Arts during May, 2007, a large-scale
exhibition project was carried out by the curators of Liberty Art Gallery
together with critics of the Exhibition Hall of the Union of Russian artists.
The exposition "The Greater Volga - on the Coast of Neva" drew the
attention not only of visitors and city dwellers, but also of art experts.
Since then Liberty
Art Gallery has gained great popularity in the art circles of St. Petersburg as
the organizer of high quality expositions.
